Movies & Makers is a limited-edition publication, commissioned for There in Number 18, a group exhibition in a residential house, 18 Rugby Street, London, once the home of poet, Ted Hughes.

 

The publication is divided into two sections: 

 

Movies documents scenes in films that feature crying and chickens - part of an ongoing project by the artist.  The films were selected for the occupations of their protagonists.  

 

For Makers, the residents in the house were asked to recall all their past occupations, which are simply listed.
