Library of Unwritten Books
Library of Unwritten Books is a unique collection of 800 possible books made from interviews with people about the book they would like to write. Transcripts of the recorded interviews are published as pamphlets and then displayed at exhibitions, literature events and public venues.
Library of Unwritten Books successfully delivered art projects, commissioned by the following organisations: British Council, V&A, Tate Britain, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Walsall Art Gallery, Bolton at Home, Hyde Housing, Port Eliot Lit Fest, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Aspex Gallery, The Public, Spread the Word Literature Development Agency, Pump House Gallery, Southampton City Art Gallery, and many other public libraries, community groups and local authorities.
The project is in its final stage and currently preparing archive copies to be housed at Mass Observation Archive, University of West Sussex.
Co-produced with Sam Brown.
